Welcome in homebuyer, I'm Stacy and am so glad you're here!
Whether it's your first time buying a home or your 50th, you're in the right place.
Although the process of buying a home is relatively the same for everyone, each type of buying experience is unique and can also come with it's unique set of challenges. Which is why I take an educational approach when it comes to buying a home with my clients.
I find that the more educated my buyer clients are on the process, the more confident and less stressed out they are with the unique challenges they face with their home purchase!
They usually even find themselves enjoying the process because they know what to expect and when, so there are few surprises along the way.
Of course life happens, and there are always variables that we
cannot control. But this is all the more reason to have a plan in place that allows me to address anything that may come up along the way without derailing the entire homebuying process.
Now this is not to say that I educate you to the point where you feel overburdened with what you need to know. I still do all the heavy lifting, but I will make sure any and all questions, concerns, and anything else that comes up for you are addressed from the get-go.
AND I won't stop there! Instead of doing everything in the background and only checking in when something is due or an issue arises (like most agents typically do) I will continue to check-in with you at each stage of the process.
I keep you up-to-date with the items you need to complete each week (such as packing, etc.) along with what's happening behind the scenes so that you can sleep at night knowing I've got you covered!
So if you are ready to work with someone that is dedicated to making your buying experience as wonderful and exciting as it ought to be, stick with me and I will show you the way!
Buying your first home is quite a unique transaction. Not only are you likely making the biggest purchase of your life thus far, but you are also probably finding out that it also can be a very emotionally draining process!
There is SO MUCH to know and do that it can be hard to know where to even begin. Especially when you're likely getting unsolicited advice from all your friends, family members, and maybe even people you run into at the grocery store that want to tell you the "right" way to go about buying your first time.
Although well intentioned I'm sure, the advice they're giving is likely just what they did when they bought their first home. And if it worked out for them, chances are they're thinking it should work for you too!
But the only problem with this way of thinking is that the "right" way to buy your first home is actually different for everyone! No two real estate transactions are ever the same, so how likely would it be that the advice you're getting from let's say your friend from college that bought their first home a few years back when interest rates were at 3%, is what you should be doing when interest rates have literally doubled since then?
Now I know what you're probably thinking, if you don't listen to these well-intended people in your life, who should you listen to? And no, the answer is NOT that you should just listen to me either. Instead I find that the answer lies within you! I'm not trying to get all philosophical or "woo woo" on you here. But think about it for a minute. Who knows your situation better than you?
Which is WHY I'm giving you 13 weeks of information in my First-Time Buyer series that covers all the things you ought to know about buying your first home. Each week I cover one topic - everything from finding the right real estate agent for you (psst...it might NOT be me), getting a mortgage, house hunting, submitting a winning offer, how to navigate through a home inspection, and everything else that comes along with buying a home up through closing day and even beyond to being a homeowner.
I'm giving you the information now so that YOU can make an informed decision when it comes to buying a home that makes sense for you and your unique situation. Then I'm here in the background as your real estate guide when you're ready to make a move. No pressure or sales pitch from me on how "now's the best time to buy!" or any of that other nonsense.
Quite honestly, right now it's really hard to buy your first home unless you have a ton of money saved up somewhere or your parents or other family members are kicking in some assistance your way. But there are ways to make it more affordable, such as first-time buyer programs that can help if and when you're ready. I've made it my mission to help my first-time buyers see what may be possible for them and what their best scenario is when it comes to buying their first home. Sometimes waiting it out a few more years is what is best.
So, first take a moment to sign up to receive my 13-week Home Buying 101 series above. Then reach out to me whenever you have a question or would like to talk more about your unique situation when it comes to buying your first home and what programs and other things may be available to you to make it happen.
My promise to you is that I will be open and honest with you. If now is not the best time to buy, I'll tell you that. And if that's the case, we can create a gameplan together so that when it is the right time, you'll be ready to move forward with no time wasted.
The best part is, you won't feel like you're waiting around for something to happen to get you into your first home. You're being proactive and doing all that you can now for your future self. Believe me, they will thank you for it! ;)
