I completely understand this dilemma! My husband and I bought our "forever" home a couple years ago, and although I love parts of it, sometimes driving all the way to Folsom an hour away starts to drive me a bit crazy. Especially as gas prices go up along with grocery prices and everything else that seems to go up in an inflated market. But the home-town feel and all the outdoor activities nearby are things I just can't give up. So for now, I love my home MORE than I hate it, so I'm sticking around.

Another consideration when right-sizing is knowing how long you need to own your home before you can sell it. There may be things like Capital Gains taxes and other things you should be aware of before moving onto another home. We can talk through these things as well when we meet!
