Now don't get me wrong, single-listing websites are great and all. Your agent can create one that looks amazing and showcases your home "center-stage" rather than on one of the real estate search apps like Zillow or Realtor.com that also shows EVERY.SINGLE.HOME for sale wherever your heart desires.
AND having a single-listing site gives your agent a dedicated website link to use on social media, paid ads, and other marketing content.
The only problem is, these temporary single-listing sites are just that...temporary. Once the property is sold, the website is cancelled and a new one is created for their next seller client. Which is terrible news when you're talking about SEO (search engine optimization) for that single-listing website.
Creating a website that is search engine optimized takes TIME to start ranking in the top search results when a buyer is looking for a home in your area! I mean, who scrolls down the list of search results, let alone go on the next page?!
